Current Events/Projects:
108 Woodfall Road - The Board of Selectmen will be reviewing a new draft RFP for the disposition of 108 Woodfall at their next meeting on Monday, September 24th at 7:00 pm., Belmont Town Hall, 455 Concord Avenue, Belmont. All interested residents are urged to attend. A copy of the new draft RFP can be reviewed at: www.town.belmont.ma.us/Public_Documents/BelmontMA_BBoard/01974CA0-000F8513
Bone Marrow Drive for Our Neighbor Debbi Margosian Chapman - Debbi, a Belmont Hillcrest neighbor, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia a year ago. She has undergone chemotherapy but now needs a stem cell transplant. Because she is Armenian, her doctors believe her best chance of finding a stem cell match is within the Armenian community. Potential donors should be in good health and between 18-60 years old. Debbi’s family is willing to pay $25,000 to the person who is a match for Debbi. If you'd like to help, please email Linda Levin-Scherz at llevinscherz@gmail.com to receive more information or a free cheek swab kit.
Evergreen Way Island - An opportunity to beautify the neighborhood! Seeking landscapers or volunteers to maintain and improve the island located at the entrance of Evergreen Way, across from the Belmont Hill School. Contact PBH!
